Our school started education under the name of ‘Kırveli Secondary School’ at the additional building of Salihli Alpaslan Primary School. Its name was originated from the neighbourhood it was in. In 1986 our school’s name was changed into ‘Milli Egemenlik Secondary School’ by the decision of Turkish Grand National Assembly. Our school was moved to this current building in 1991. Until 1991 we gave dual education; the morning part and the afternoon part. After 1991 we had one period as primary school. In september 2012 it started to give dual education again; the grades between 5 and 8 in the morning, the grades between 2 and 4 in the afternoon. We don’t have 1st grade anymore as our school is now a secondary school. Most of our graduates have been very successful at military schools, social sciences high schools, science high schools and anatolian high schools. We have 33 teachers, 3 administrative staff, 4 janitors and 759 students.
